Griffith Energy
In November 2003, PNC Equity Partners worked exclusively with Griffith’s management team to buy the company from Energy East Corporation. PNC Equity Partners led the acquisition process, investing $17.4 million in the form of preferred and common stock. Griffith is a distributor of propane and home heating oil in upstate New York.

In August 2008, PNC Equity Partners acquired The Country Vintner, Inc. in partnership with Management. Concurrent with the acquisition of TCV, PNC Equity Partners supported TCV's acquisition of the East Coast Operations of a large fine wine distributor. PNC Equity invested $14.5 MM in the form of preferred and common stock.
